Balayya's Legend needs a clearance from Election Commission!

Everything is not going smooth for Nandamuri Balakrishna's movie 'Legend' that is preparing to hit theatres in a couple of days on March 28th. As of now, Censor Members have viewed the movie but the Board hasn't issued a certificate. There seems a dispute between Board and the makers, and here comes the latest information.

In fact, Censor Board has proposed to the makers to cut all the dialogues in 'Legend' that got political connectivity. A certificate will be issued only if all these politically motivating dialogues are muted. And if 'Legend' team wants to hold those political punches in the movie, Censor Board opined that they should get a clearance from Election Commission. The Board has made it clear that at a time when general elections and municipal polls are going on in Andhra Pradesh, they cannot entertain anything related to politics in films. Looks like, makers have no way except to accept the ultimatum given by Censor Board.

Fans are worried over these developments as any such delay in issuing of Censor Certificate will affect the date of release. Today is 26 already, and the movie is supposed to hit on March 28th only. We have to see what will happen.
