Mahesh Babu steps out of Mani Ratnam film

Mahesh Babu seems to be missing out yet another opportunity to work with ace-director Mani Ratnam. In a shocking development we hear that Mahesh Babu is no more a part of the much-talked about multi-starrer directed by Mani Ratnam. However, Nagarjuna will still continue to remain in the film’s cast and the other names for the female leads that was in the news were that of Aishwarya Rai, Shruti Haasan and Asin.

But considering this latest update of Mahesh Babu backing out of this project, we wonder who will next in the line to step back. Although sources close to the project have revealed that the search to replace Mahesh is in full swing and soon there will bean official announcement made with regard to the cast and crew of the multi-starrer.

And it seems Mahesh Babu has cited date problems as the reason to back out from this film, as the actor will have to work in a UTV-Koratala Siva film immediately after completing Aagadu and then he also has to work in Puri Jagannath’s film. Thus, Mahesh is unable to accommodate dates for Mani Ratnam’s film.
