was expected to be a path breaking film. That film got very bad talk on its
first day and couldn't recover after that. Most of them questioned the runtime
of the film and producers made immediate plans to trim it down by twenty
minutes. But it was already late by then.
This time they are not taking any chances. Legend is their next film which will release on coming Friday. This film has been trimmed down by more than twenty minutes before going to the censor itself. Now the film's length is around 155 minutes. Viewers are not patient enough to sit through a three hour long film now no matter who the hero is.
So it is not wise for any film to have long runtime unless or until it is unavoidable. 14 Reels learnt their big lesson for Nenokkadine and took care to trim down Legend to as short as possible. This will certainly help the prospects of the film. Boyapati Srinu's Dammu was also criticized for being overlong. It is better to do the necessary trimming rather doing that after getting negative feedback from viewers. Good move.
