Chiru: Pawan Kalyan has never opposed my decision to merge PRP

nding years of speculations, Chiranjeevi has finally revealed his younger brother Pawan Kalyan's stand on merging Praja Rajyam Party with Congress. Reacting to the 'Million Dollar' question that Pawan has distanced with Chiru ever since he merged PRP with Congress, Chiru set the record straight, "Pawan Kalyan has never opposed my decision to merge PRP with Congress. He neither questioned me nor expressed his dissent over it to me in personal or in public."

"Pawan Kalyan was never interested in holding power. He just limited himself to Yuva Rajyam wing and poll campaigning in Praja Rajyam Party. Pawan had told me that he would stand by me even after elections. After the results, Pawan took up his career and become busy in acting whereas I merged PRP with Congress as I believed that social-justice is only possible with largest party like Congress," Chiranjeevi clears the air.

Taking everyone by surprise, Chiru totally ruled out rift within Mega family. Chiru stated, "We're always united. It's media which cooked up the rift. Even now, we gather at social functions and festivals. We will eat in same plate (Oke Kancham) and will sleep in same bed (Oke Mancham). Pawan is just like my son (Ram Charan Tej)." Chiru reiterated that he welcome Pawan's party and said the duo has ideological differences but not personal ruptures. "I wanted to support secular forces (Congress), whereas he has his own ideologies," hinting that Pawan is backing "non-secular" BJP.

Chiru's comments came in a day after dubbing Pawan as his "political rival". Chiru's latest statements on Pawan are a big stunner, shocker to all Mega fans and Pawan Kalyan's fans. Is Chiru taking advantage of Pawan's silence? Is Chiru trying to cash in on Pawan's respect? Is Pawan really okay with PRP merger with Congress? If there is no spat, why did Naga Babu send video message a day before Pawan's speech? Only Pawan Kalyan can answer these set of questions.
